Atlanta Psychotherapist Sam Gloyd, M.S., L.P.C.


Atlanta based psychotherapist Sam Gloyd, M.S., L.P.C. has been a therapist specializing in addiction treatment in the Atlanta area for more than 20 years.  His extensive career has included serving as the Evening Outpatient Program coordinator for Anchor Hospital, the Brawner Psychiatric Institute and Parkwood Hospital. Before going solely into private practise together, he and Karen Ryan co-led evening addition recovery groups  at Peachford Hospital.

He has also seen clients in private practise on an individual bases for reasons including personal growth issues and relationship problems.  He served on the founding committee for Project Positive Impact a non profit organization that provides therapy and counseling for HIV-AIDS patients and their families who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his Master's degree from Georgia State University.
